Illinois crash that killed 4 investigated
DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. (UPI) -- Investigators say drugs and alcohol appear to be involved in a head-on collision that killed four teenagers outside Chicago. Evidence at the scene indicates one of the vehicles drifted over the center line in Burlington Township and slammed into the oncoming car early Saturday, the Chicago Tribune said Sunday. The newspaper said the two Pontiac sedans crashed, killing three of the victims outright and sending the fourth victim to a hospital in Downers Grove where she died a short time later. An investigation by Kane County sheriff's deputies continues.
