Notice of Firefighter Fatality: Brooklyn, NY

Roy Chelsen of the Fire Department City of New York in Brooklyn, NY has died as the result of an on-duty incident that occurred on 2001-09-11 Firefighter Chelsen passed away from bone-marrow cancer resulting from his response to the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in New York City on September 11th, 2001. 

Notice of Firefighter Fatality: Kansas City, MO

Richard Paul of the Kansas City Fire Department in Kansas City, MO has died as the result of an on-duty incident that occurred on 2011-01-07 Firefighter Paul suffered a medical emergency while walking on a treadmill during a heart stress test, a portion of the annual fire department physical examination. Firefighter Paul was treated by emergency personnel and transported to the hospital but succumbed to his injury and passed away.
